Key Responsibilities:

The role of Quality Systems Manager is instrumental in the promotion of the IDEX Values, Trust, Team, Excellence and will help lead a change culture focused around proactive behaviors and data driven decision making.

  • Lead a team of 3 direct reports and take direct responsibility for their development and mentorship

  • Lead the effort to develop and improve a quality system that maintains our ISO certification

  • Deliver an inspection and audit plan with statistical analysis (SPC) to support end of line inspection reduction and build quality into all processes

  • Support and promote continuous improvement activities with a specific focus on daily problem solving and Kaizen (RIE) events

  • Lead and continue developing total customer satisfaction by engaging and empowering all and facilitating events using lean tools

  • Use of Influence and compassion to seek a quick resolution to problems that may arise both internally and externally

  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and build strong relationships with all levels of the business and customers, supporting external customers on a daily basis

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Customer Focus

  • Support the management of critical relationships at demanding strategically key customers with world class root cause analysis and support data

  • Help grow focus customers through the delivery of professional reports and analysis to build confidence supported by exceptional processes

  • Manage the customer complaints system, using RCCA techniques and use the analysis to actively drive improvement to processes to prevent reoccurrence

Development of Team

  • Develop a team of quality engineers to build upon problem solving skill and drive actions at the point of impact (Gemba)

  • Influence the leaders in the business to build upon daily management and promote continuous improvement

Management of the Quality Management System

  • The daily upkeep of the quality management system through audit and review to ensure the business in external audit ready

  • Maintenance of the business accreditations and customer approvals

  • Development of key processes and procedures required as the business grows and further develops its platform development

Requirements

  • Experience in introducing and maintain ISO9001 quality management systems with knowledge of new revisions

  • Degree or relevant qualifications with 5 years’ experience in quality leadership and 3 years people management

  • Continuous Improvement knowledge with proven record delivering / leading

  • Proven use of problem solving RCCA

  • Good professional communicator able to effectively communicate will all levels of the business and customers
