SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITES :
As a member of the Assembly team, this supports assembly, and testing of components and product to warehouse, maintains a safe work environment, focuses on continuous process improvements, enhancement of skills, and function and quality of the product.
REPORTING TO :
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare work to be accomplished by reviewing work/packing instructions, specifications and tools and packing materials.
Inspect assembled product(s) to ensure accuracy compliance.
Identify quality issues notifying supervisor and Quality department documenting actions and participate in the resolution process.
Follow all 5S standards ensuring work area is clean and operable
Operate various test and packing equipment
Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
Move product to and from assembly area utilizing motorized pallet jacks and forklifts.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum of High School Graduate or equivalent
High attention to detail.
Proven mechanical skills and a high attention to detail
Proficient with a variety of manual and power tools
Good hydraulic and mechanical aptitude
Exposure in 5S and Lean environment
Participation in process improvement projects
Continuously develop skills and product knowledge
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds independently and consistently.
Possess strong teamwork and positive attitude
Adapt and manage change well during peak periods of priority
Good judgment and decision making skills
