SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITES :

As a member of the Assembly team, this supports assembly, and testing of components and product to warehouse, maintains a safe work environment, focuses on continuous process improvements, enhancement of skills, and function and quality of the product.

REPORTING TO :

Production Supervisor

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare work to be accomplished by reviewing work/packing instructions, specifications and tools and packing materials.

• Inspect assembled product(s) to ensure accuracy compliance.

• Identify quality issues notifying supervisor and Quality department documenting actions and participate in the resolution process.

• Follow all 5S standards ensuring work area is clean and operable

• Operate various test and packing equipment

• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations

• Move product to and from assembly area utilizing motorized pallet jacks and forklifts.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of High School Graduate or equivalent

• High attention to detail.

• Proven mechanical skills and a high attention to detail

• Proficient with a variety of manual and power tools

• Good hydraulic and mechanical aptitude

• Exposure in 5S and Lean environment

• Participation in process improvement projects

• Continuously develop skills and product knowledge

• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds independently and consistently.

• Possess strong teamwork and positive attitude

• Adapt and manage change well during peak periods of priority

• Good judgment and decision making skills
