POSITION SUMMARY
The Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling components or products to make finished goods per internal/ customer specifications.. Duties include assembling products and testing parts/inspecting equipment each shift and monitoring the quality of incoming and outgoing products/materials for the company.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintains a clean and safe workplace
Assemble Components: Construct items from smaller parts based on instructions and specifications.
Perform Diagnostic Tests: Test assembled goods to ensure they function efficiently and make necessary adjustments.
Maintain Production Flow: Ensure all parts, labor, and processes are progressing as scheduled.
Use Tools and Equipment: Operate hand tools, soldering equipment, and other machinery to assemble products.
Follow Safety Protocols: Use personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent accidents.
Understands specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings, etc.
Inspects products for quality assurance
Handles materials appropriately and safely
Ensures manufacturing adherence to all quality regulations
Analyzes measurements
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED or related experience and/or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment or related field
Good hand-eye coordination, ability to use various hand tools, and capable of following detailed instructions and drawings.
Quality assurance experience a plus
QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-focused environment
Must be 18 years of age or older
Must be authorized to work in the US
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Shop floor working environment
Required to wear safety glasses and utilize other safety equipment as required while present on the production floor

Total Rewards
The compensation range for this position is $30,600.00 - $46,000.00, depending on experience. This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.
